📦 ORDERING & SHIPPING
When will my order be ready?
All JAL Candles are made to order and handcrafted in Cyprus using premium soy wax. Our pillar candles are made using pillar soy wax, specifically suited for moulded and sculpted candles.
Please allow 1–2 days for your order to be prepared and ready for dispatch.
Once your order is ready, delivery usually takes:
- ACS Courier Pickup: approximately 1 business day
- Home Delivery: approximately 1–3 business days after dispatch
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the courier and destination.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver across Cyprus.
You can choose between:
- Home Delivery: €5 for orders below €40
- Free Home Delivery: for orders of €40 or more
- ACS Courier Pickup: available for all orders
ACS Pickup allows you to collect your order from a convenient ACS Courier location.
Can I send my order as a gift?
Absolutely! 🎁
If you are sending an order as a gift, let us know during checkout or contact us shortly after placing your order. We can include a gift note with your order and accommodate special requests where possible.

💸 RETURNS & REFUNDS
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
As our candles are handmade and made to order, we do not generally accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
However, if your candle arrives damaged or defective, we will be happy to arrange a replacement or refund.
Please contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide clear photos of the damaged product and packaging so we can assist you as quickly as possible.

How long do your candles burn?
Burn time depends on the size, shape, and design of each candle. Larger candles generally have a longer burn time than smaller candles.
All our candles are made using premium soy wax, while our pillar candles use pillar soy wax.
For the estimated burn time of a specific candle, please check its individual product description.
How can I make my candle last longer?
For the best performance and a longer-lasting candle:
- Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn.
- On the first burn, allow the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the container where applicable.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
🎁 CUSTOM & BULK ORDERS
Do you accept bulk or custom orders?
Yes! We create candles for weddings, corporate gifts, baby showers, christenings, birthdays, events, and other special occasions.
For larger quantities or personalised orders, contact us at info@jalcandles.com or use the WhatsApp button at the bottom of your screen.
We can discuss available scents, quantities, personalisation, pricing, and production timeframes.
For larger orders, we recommend contacting us in advance to allow sufficient preparation time.
Can I request a different scent that isn't listed on the website?
Possibly! We may be able to create a candle using a different fragrance depending on availability and the type of candle requested.
Custom fragrance requests may be subject to minimum quantities, additional costs, and longer preparation times.
